Tahoe Forest Health System Launches New Magazine

In an effort to increase transparency and distribute community information, Tahoe Forest Health System has launched a magazine, featuring health and wellness articles and information on local programs. The premier edition profiles four system physicians in the lead article, “Saving Lives Every Day.”

SmallPond Studio was honored to lead the design and layout of this new publication, which featured photos by local photographer, Nicholas Rab.

Copies of the magazine are available for download at www.tfhd.com and at the Truckee Chamber, the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association, the Incline Village Visitor Center, throughout Hospital District facilities.

Named one of America’s Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals and a proud partner of UC Davis, Tahoe Forest Hospital has served the Tahoe-Truckee community since 1952. The not-for-profit rural healthcare facility was recently designated as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and the National Rural Health Resource Center Award for Excellence in Innovation and Quality.

Tahoe Forest Hospital has 25 acute care beds and 37 long-term care beds. Its geographic area covers six rural counties, two states and approximately 3,500 square miles, with primary services reaching the communities of Truckee, North Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Donner Summit, and the Sierra Valley.
