The website, www.tahoecancercenter.com, is based on the Drupal content management system, giving the company's marketing team full control over the content and images used on their website.

Located in the High Sierra town of Truckee California, Gene Upshaw Memorial Tahoe Forest Cancer Center (GUMTFCC) has a purpose as rarified as its elevation. Led by Medical Director and Oncologist Laurence Heifetz, MD, FACP, Medical Oncologist and Hematologist Ahrin Koppel, MD, and Radiation Oncologist Daphne Palmer, MD, Tahoe Forest Cancer Center’s mission is to provide the Truckee-Tahoe community with a high level of cancer treatment and support programs not often found in rural settings.

The site was developed by Truckee, Calif.-based graphic design and web development firm SmallPond Studio. Built as a Drupal content management system, the website is designed to be flexible, affordable and easy to use. Clients can make updates to all sections of their websites, from basic text and image changes to managing their website's menus and contact databases.
