SmallPond Studio recently upgraded North Tahoe Public Utility District’s website from a static website to a content management system, enabling utility district staff to update the site without the assistance of a webmaster.
The website, www.ntpud.org, showcases extensive content on the utility district’s policies and practices. The site also contains large amounts dynamic content, from seasonal job postings to agendas, minutes, and board packets.
The website is based on the Drupal content management system, giving the NTPUD full control over the content and images used on their website. Learn more about SmallPond’s content management system here. For a client such as this, the CMS functionality will save both time and money.
The North Tahoe Public Utility District (NTPUD) was formed in 1948 under the State of California Public Utilities Code to provide sewer services to the residents of the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The District’s boundaries range from the Nevada state line in Crystal Bay to Dollar Hill. Our service area includes the communities of Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Brockway Vista, Carnelian Bay, Cedar Flat and Agate Bay.
